Dueling Card Game ‘Orions: Legend Of Wizards’ for the iPhone

MoreGames has released, Orions: Legend Of Wizards ($4.99), for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Orions is essentially a dueling fantasy card game, where you face off against a human or an AI opponent, with a randomly generated card stack. 

The game plays quite well on the iPhone’s touchscreen controls, which largely consist of icon tapping to select new cards or to cast spells. 

The graphics aren’t mundane as you would expect from a card game, many spells have great special effects when casted, although not exactly key to a great strategy card game, it does make Orions all the more pleasing to the eye.

The multiplayer mode adds good replay value to the game, but currently only offers pass-n-play, no multiplayer over WiFi or EDGE/3G.

If you enjoy games such as Magic: The Gathering, Orions may be right up your alley.
