New iPhone RTS ‘Robocalypse’ coming to the App Store

Looks like the RTS genre will be growing a lot faster than we thought. The latest RTS title planned for the iPhone is Robocalypse, which was released on the DS last year. The biggest feature I’m excited about is the online multiplayer over Wi-Fi and and hopefully bluetooth once iPhone OS 3.0 hits. There will be 17 campaign missions to play through and for added replay value there will also be 18 multiplayer maps.

Brief Description

Robocalypse Mobile Mayhem offers a fun, fast and friendly mix of real-time strategy and humor for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Players will collect resources, build structures and control more than 10 unit types, 20 varieties of weaponry and powerful Hero robots in an effort to stop the evil Demolisher and his robots from dominating the world.
